Wedding Photography Survey

Considerations when choosing a wedding photographer

Thanks to everyone for completing our wedding show questionnaire over the course of the last year. The aims of the survey was to determine what are the most important considerations that engaged couples have when choosing a wedding photographer.

I hope the information contained here is some use to anyone currently making a decision on which wedding photographer to choose.

The tables below give the survey results.

Overall Ranking

Perhaps it could be considered the obvious choice - the consideration rated most highly by our surveryed couples was aesthetic: quality and style of photographs. The next two highest scoring considerations were related to the couples relationship with their photographer. Interestingly price was rated 6th out of 8th most important by our respondents, showing that budget only becomes a consideration after couples are satisfied that the quality of photographs, the personality and that the experience of the photographer meets their needs.
